Seriously dude, I'd have thought you'd be more concerned with this song featuring on a TV advert for prescription drugs than it being used (with permission of the original artist) in a track thousands of people will dance to and appreciate.

as far as I understand Framayx's statement, he critisized, that Manu's great hang-tune has been "pulled down to a thinnish effect". From my viewpoint he's right !

The short snippet in the TV-commercial at least keeps the original sound. The facsination of the hang is mainly caused by its sound and its rich overtones - not by just a thin hookline as in this dull disco-beat...

There is a US based company, pantheon steel, that makes a version of the hang drum called halo. They cost 1500USD but includes shiping to anywhere in the world. Its still not really mass production, so there is a waiting list, but it is cheaper and less exclusive then the swiss company.
