HOW is Latvia on recovery path? By BORROWING more money?!? By going DEEPER into DEBT which caused the problems at first place?!?

The very same western bankers who put Latvia into the crisis are now offering a "helping" hand through EU and IMF. Just like it is the case in Greece, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria... And here are western media to tell us that "Latvia is on the recovery path". Too bad Latvians do not feel it

Yes there is sign of unrest in Latvia. All the young people who have any ambition are frying eggs behind the counter of British restaurants.

American and British bankers blow up the world, and the poor children of Latvia lose their teachers as punishment.

The IT teacher is merely a dumb nationalist, too young to know anything about the Soviet period. Under the USSR, nobody had to survive. Any kid could get himself a bike even from a very poor family - just by collecting emply glass bottles. One emply bottle was enough to buy an ice cream.

I was simply pointing out that:

1) taking into account the huge ethnic divide within Latvia (Latvians vs. Russian-speaking Soviet-time immigrants), you have a huge bias against:

a) the pro-Latvian prime minister and his Cabinet, which led the country to a succesful economic recovery a lot faster than anticipated

b) criticism of the Soviet Union, because Russians have a fundamentally different perception of history compared to the Latvian one (the main difference being a partial or complete approval of the totalitarian/authoritarian governments of the USSR, genocide and repressions, russification and other policies, which they mostly didn't face themselves)

You didn't present any real arguments, thus there was no need for any counter-arguments.

a) there's a genetic link between the adherents of communism

b) adherents of communism are genetically inclined towards swearing/ intellectually inferior compared to other people
