I for one cannot say that my imagination hasn't ran wild thinking about the possibilities of such predictions and situations. But despite all these predictions about the future and how we can survive yada yada, we forget that we are totally out of control when it comes to the forces of the universe.

According to the UK map on this Cornwall, Wales and Scotland, (Celtic lands), are spared, yet other maps show only Snowdonia in Wales as spared. Is your map from a reliable source? I live in one of these places and represent the people electorally you see, and we need to prepare at Local Gov level if we are at risk. If your map is right, we should be OK. Thanks so much!

Wouldn't it be funny if the government sent this map to everyone telling them where to move to be save, but instead switched the water/land configuration so people would actually be tricked into moving where water is going to be?
Just look at the map and check elevations. Obviously the higher you are the safer you'll be if indeed this is true. I'm saying not. We'll all live to see 2013 and beyond.
