I bet none of you have ever seen a four wheel drive stick shift 1996 dakota v6 with 70,000 brush guard and roll bars and the gayest paint ever. A light bluish purple. Thats what I roll in and despite the color you cant find a more tough small truck. Now is this in the video a 2wd or 4wd?
i have the same truck but white. the trick to get the limited slip to break off is to go backward and stomp it then stop go foward about 3 feet and try or hold the brake lightlky enugh to make it work to move and itll start
POSI!!! Ive only done acouple Posi burnouts (I have a limited slip). Its pretty much luck of the draw with these. Do u have a posi rearend in this or not?
pretty much stock, had k&n, exahust and chip in it then. it would do them stock too though. they are not too bad for a v6 truck. i just had to add two more cylinders to mine!
no, it was the lack of power from the v6. the wheels were turning slow till it broke them loose. i have a 318 now and it will just blow them off without doing that! but i have been thinking about some sand bags for the strip.
This is what happens when two high school kids skip a day of school. I am pretty sure that this is the most seen strip of road in Wakulla County now, 2 videos online and a picture in Car Craft.
i just got a set of wheeles like that.. how are the hub caps held in Place? Does it need a special nut?

Looks like you need more weight in the back so it doesnt jump around. I have a 96 with a 318 V8 with 240 lbs of sand bags.... no jumping.

Hah, Dakotas are sweet. Check out my burnout vid with a VERY similar 1995 Dakota V6 as well. They are pretty damn indestructible I must say.
