@Z00T3D1 Mostly agree my main statement was more about wanting to see a wider range of vocalists in metal copy was a poor chose of words on my part. In truth there is a good amount of diversity out there but if there is any legit argument against Metal music it's that when ever something new comes out suddenly the few originals get lost in a land slide of other bands that imitate them. It's the diverse nature of Metal that makes it strong.
Mercyful Fate are absolutely amazing. I never cease to be amazed by King Diamond's voice. His vocals can be so haunting at times and so melodic and then at other times he sounds very aggressive and comes across as if he would fit in a thrash band. He is definitely in a league of his own.

@RAWSTEEL89 - Whoa, my friend. Why the hatred? I have been listening to KD since the mid-1980's and he was even one of my first concerts (on the Abigail tour). But to ridicule other forms of music is pointless and serves no purpose. You're preaching to the choir here. And choirs suck. Because choirs are related to religion and religion sucks. Understand? Let everyone enjoy all music. King would tell you as much. Be what King would want for the world: Appreciate everyone's rights and tastes.
