When Zack left Rage they brought in Cornell to form what was to be the distinctly average sounding Audioslave, saved only by the skills of the band and slightly ruined by Cornell. Rage is more about playing politically charged lyrics and gaining attention. If you think about it, theyre almost polar opposites. @quincee33 well he's back in soundgarden now. and he produced some great tracks with audioslave. they didn't have the same political zeal as rage, but chris has awesome range and is one of the great singers of the 90s. adding him with morello was pretty deadly on some songs. it just seemed like they got lazy and decided only to produce like 4 good songs per album and the rest were pretty generic
