I never ment to state or imply that it does for sure cause an allergic reaction. Im just saying that for me, it made the area around my lips look like Id been bitten multiple times by misquitos

Actually Lip Injection does use allergins to irritate the lips, Lip Injection EXTREME however is the one with the collegan.

For everyone who says it's an allergic reaction, they're wrong.

some lip injections/plumpers might give you an allergic reaction but too faced doesnt.

too faced inserts micro collagen into your lips that make them swell naturally. it might burn a little bit but that's just how it works.

It's an allergen. It makes you have an allergic reaction so your lips will swell.

I tried it on..haha!And i had an allergic reaction too!..my lips went swollen..haha...it really hurts though!

ugh i have lip injection in techno punch and today i put it on and it tingle too bad and i took it off the color is cute but too painful to wear.

im sorry you had a bad experience :( but i really love lip injection :) it works great for me and i love the extreme plumping results, i have a big one w me all the time, also ive had a a bit of the redness around my lips too but now i make sure to keep it away from my lip line and use a smaller amt. altho i once got it near my eye from having residual gloss on my finger and my eye/cheek had a lil red spot on it haha so USE CAUTION with lip injection ladies :)

It probably was the result of using one from in a store. Testers should no be trusted. I might have also had two on at one point, so many they chemically reacted. Or what not. Ill try it again one day! Haha Ill make sure not get it near my eye!!

i went to sephora today & tried the lip injection by too faced & it made my lips look really nice! but when my sister tried it, it didn't; she didn't get quite the same effect. so...i think lip injection really depends on the user in addition to the product itself.

i tried it and then my lips bacme red and huge and it looked like a bee stung my lips so yeah it kida tastes good

The ingredient in lip injection that makes your lips fuller is chilli. If you have an allergy to that, that could be the reason! x

I have an advice for you, 80% of the times that I have try something at a store have gave me some alergic reaction...maybe is not the lip plumper which was bad but the tester on the store because everyone uses it....I recomend you sovage lip plumper or the pam anderson plumping lips treatment...of course you can always get collagen or radiesse...

I thought about that too. It maybe not being the lip plumper itself. I have now also tried the Rimmel London Lip Booster. Doesnt plump my lips, maybe a very small change. Though the color and gloss are awsome and at 5 dollars, you cant go wrong. Those two lip plumpers you suggested, are those in the US only?

i tired that same thing @ & it stings & were also red around the line like yours did but mine got big

Lucky you!  Mine sure didnt get big. I just tried a new lip plumper today, and it didnt cause an allergic reaction, but also didnt plump my lips. Grr.
