@TheVtieg6 My settings was wrong and its been rectified. This happens when you work on cars and you set the settings to 0 performance. You can see by my vids how the car has improved and with the STI I raced at 360bhp.

@sony33flo Well this was the arguement but we can see that this Edition 30 was not 360bhp. He would of crapped all over me if he was 360bhp. I am and only went on what he told me. I think he had 315bhp if you ask me there was at times where he just puled away from me but with very little margin.

Some k1s off cupranet are putting out 270 standard and with a remap just over 300 then with other mods up to 340bhp

Plus that terminal speed of yours (which is very good) would no way be achieved with 270bhp IMO. Or was that done when the car was healthier mate?

@VtecAbuser lol. I know the guy and have no reason not to believe him but to be honest I had, and still, have my doubts on the power figures of his car. He did say something about setting his toque figures down because he was wheel spinning hell of a lot.....THINKING erm.....erm.....well lets just leave it there. LOL Yes after I got the settings sorted it was a hole damn better, however, my exhaust does help with the top end. I have a de-catted 3 inch strait through to my standard box 320,330hp

What terminals does your Stage 2 K1 run?

Why does it now say Seat Cupra K1 Stage 2 270bhp? You saying that the Ed30 is 90bhp more with just a de-cat? Yet they are identical going up the strip?

Oh cracked the 12's the other weekend by the way.. 12.97 @ 114.2mph with a shocking 2.44 60ft (conditions weren't great).

Car has.. EVOMS Intake, Milltek TBE, Autotech Pump and Revo Stage 2+, everything else stock (bar wheels) Full road trim (nothing removed)

Well if you're only running 108mph terminals then i'd be more than game. Maybe coming upto Crail in the next few months or you could come to Pod?

When I was Stage 2 (around 325bhp) I was running between 109-111mph terminals and i'm now Stage 2+ so i'd be happy to take you on pal. I hope you can run 12's though ;-)

108mph terminal speeds would equate to around 320-330bhp on a manual K04 IMO.

I have a RR print out of mine running 378bhp at Stage 2. It went straight in the bin.

@bossspeakin the edition 30 has been dyno'd at 360 bhp, i think the video is on youtube somewhere. The car has some serious power, in third and fourth gear it can pull clean away from a 420bhp E92 M3, we were all left gobsmacked. Only problem with the car is that 1st and 2nd gear are usless, wheel spins everywhere.

@j2a mine is the car running 360 bhp...and it can pull from a e92 m3 in mid range. got a serious wheel spin problem in first and second...nothing to lie about its fact. My mate owns the m3 so can verify it - my cousin has an e46 m3 and i can paste that too

@bossspeakin I was up there that day running a stage 1 GTI @ 270 bhp. The 360hp GTI was running a k04 turbo with a 3 1/2 inch Militek turbo back exhaust and CAI and of course a map. True enough FWD can't cope with that power off the line which is why i could run with them most of the time with only 270bhp and a DSG

@bossspeakin Mate I've got nothing to gain by lying here. I know plenty of folk with ko4 cars running 360, 380 and a guy running 386. The engine can handle it if you mod it properly. Mine is no where near that level with only a stage 1 map. I've got nothing to prove so take my opinion as you will.

@chriswbaldwin, JBS have designed a hybrid K04 turbo upgrade that will be able to produce around 300-320bhp!The turbo specification has been chosen to give maximum gains with a standard manifold and then with our collected cast manifold design give even more.

Agreed.. To get 360bhp out of the K04 engine you need a HPFP (Autotech fuel pump). Stage 2 Ed30 / Cupra / S3 should be around 320bhp and this is only backed up by this video.

My ED30 is Revo Stage 2 at the min and will be going Stage 2+ at the end of the month.

Not doubting that this ED30 has ran 360bhp on a RR, but I would suggest it's RR again on some different rollers. What times did these cars run by the way?

Well I know what they run, as I have run mine many times and managed a 13.1 @ 111mph @ Stage 2 (albeit with DSG). But if the ED30 is 360 and has a good driver, even a manual should be getting low 13's. Just intrigued to know what these boys managed?

And I would not entirely agree with you on the 13.1 stage 2 a friend of mine has a stage 2+ on his Cupra and makes 12.9 driving hard, the mods on his car is to what was required to run the stage 2+ and I can assure you a stage 2 will make only 13.5. What mods are you running?

Is that Owen or Al? I know their mods and yes I agree a low 13's isn't easy in a manual, but possible and I was refering to Stage 2+ (ie 360bhp).

Point I was really trying to make is that I can't see that Golf being a true 360bhp without a HPFP and with it being identical to yours with 320bhp it sort of backs my findings really.

Mine has ITG Panel filter, Milltek TBE and Revo Stage 2 and has run many 13.2's and a 13.1 , that being my PB.

What's your best run mate?

@VtecAbuser, Sorry for getting back to you so late. Yes Allan, and he was running it 12.9 with a manual. He has a stage 2+ and gets 13.00 and his best was 12.9 but also striped out car and using R888 tyre`s to make this time of 12.9. The Ed 30 does have these figures and he has done his mods to suit. The only reason I am sticking with him is I had better tyre`s on that day, it does make a huge difference. Its hard to believe you are running 13.1 with only the mods you have.

@VtecAbuser, I would expect you to run a 14.00 and maybe 13.9 best, and this is on the mods you have told me. I can not see you doing these times if you don`t have a intercooler. BSH induction kit. BSH Catch can,KO4, Wavertrac LCD, Sach Organic Clutch. ext. The list goes on, you can only do these times of 13.1 with these mods.

I have just recently gone Stage 2+ (OEM FMIC though), so now have HPFP and Intake so would expect do be doing 12.8's next time I run at Pod..

@VtecAbuser, Yes I can understand you have DSG but you need to know that a DSG can only scrape a 0.200 of a second of your time which is not a lot but its a lot if this makes any sense. I have a friend with a GTI MK6 with DSG and has a 270BHP and he runs 14.00. His best time was 13.8 and this is were the DSG makes it all happen. What does Allan know you as?

Gti Edition 30's DSG are now running 12.5-12.7's with Revo 2+ and Mounts,coillies,sticky tyres.

Im sure VtecAbuser will be in the 12's on the 22nd at pod. Ill be there wont be in the 12's though ;-)

My car has terminal speed over 1/4 mile of over 108 mph. Further more, my car rips all revo cars on the road mid range and top end..happy to show u if you want
