The section that got washed out a few years ago used to be fun (the old route is just before the stop sign at 2:15), but the bypass has it charms (you can go really fast!). That was also the section that brought you closest to the dam debris. I think they finished cleaning it out at the time they created the bypass (may have used the old concrete to create gravel for the new road bed).
