Wow really nice! I´ve been looking for a portable self feeding rocketstove but i didn´t find one before i came across you .. and i have some questions about it . does it give alot of smoke ? if you fill it with wood how long does it give heat without adding any wood ? I want to build one of these to bring when i go out and camp in winter and here in sweden it gets really cold so maby this would be great .. Do you have any construction plans ?

Thanks for your comments. It does work quite well. It is not something you can walk away from but when you are camping/hunting/fishing I find this self-feed one gives me twice as much time between adjustments than the other one. That's why I use one for cooking and one for heat. I am working on improving it with more of a true rocket stove with an actual 'J' shape feed which in theory should really reduce the babysitting. I'll keep you posted.

PS. Once it's going it doesn't smoke at all.

cool, make sure you stay away from any galvanized material while making your stove. It gases off at high temps
