  • Thanks for the video I just did my first EV2 shot with a 21 draw up needle and 22 gauge 1 1/2 needle. Did the doctor tell you to inject it really slow? I didn't get any instructions. When DH injected it, it was real quick.

    Just curious have to do another injection in a couple of days for a FET cycle.

  • The doctor didn't tell me to inject slow, but learning from experience and talking with other women, injecting slower seems to help a little with the soreness afterwards. I'm also using a 25 gauge needle in this video, so that slows it down a little too. Hope that helps!! Good luck!

  • It can get a little sore afterwards while your body is absorbing the meds, but I don't think it hurts any more than the initial pinch of a regular shot or blood draw.
