    wow

    she really looks blind

  • It's the most moving movie we¡ve ever seen...

It's one of the most moving movies we've ever seen...

  • I'm a grumpy old senior cynic but maintain that the "wa wa" scene is one of the most heartbreaking yet uplifting ever written...in whatever screen or stage version. It is the essence of triumph over tragedy.

  • well it has to be said! that little girl is a brilliant actress! she's gonna be big when she grows up!

  • Did that caregiver actually exist?

  • @purple2567 You mean Annie? Yes

  • she succeeded i was crying!!

  • @demidon00 Good for you i was masturbating :)

  • That was so touching

  • @shadowgirlx5 Deaf people enjoy music just as much as hearing people. They listen to the unique vibrations each sound makes, Songs with heavy bass and percussion are especially enjoyable. There is even a deaf professional percussionist in Europe.

  • Annie and Helen Keller will remain forever teachers for the blind and deaf!

  • YAY CAPTIONS!!!!!! :) Im not deaf but I keep the captions on my tv so im used to refering back to captions if i dont understand something that someone says

  • this fucken ass bitch fuck all u

  • So who plays Annie Sullivan? They fail to list how plays them in the credits!

  • @JinxTheGod

Allison Elliott - really talented actress.

  • @shadowgirlx5 dude... did that movie teach you nothing? people who are impared aren't worse off than people who arent I have a sister who is deaf and she isnt at a loss at all. Seriously man...

  • @zbraswell2000 That's a dubious assertion. I 'd rather see and hear than not. To say that the are "the same" is a fallacy. I've worn glasses since I was nine and I've always intended to have my vision corrected. If you wear glasses, there are things you simply can't do. Until I get my eyes corrected, I will never become a fighter pilot or an astronaut. I am a highly active person, but my vision issues automatically disqualify me for those relegated to "able bodies individuals. That's reality

  • @MrRadaikon ive got glasses to but dam dnt gatta go saying thing like that there are other things you can be w/or with glasses if u wanna have your eyes corrected and be w/e thats your problem some people have to work for it so mayb your comment was more of a "dubious assertion" at least zbraswell2000 is smart euff not to feed a troll :)

  • Also keep in mind Helen neither married nor had children, nor would she be able to care for them if she did. We need to bring the reality of the situation full front and center. Her biography states there was a point that Helen experienced the feelings that any healthy woman would have, but she never had gentlemen callers. Sure the story is inspiring, but would I trade places with her? Of course not. I'm not that deluded. Nor would I trade places with Stephen Hawking.

  • @zbraswell2000 omg now i gatta find their comment....

  • @zbraswell2000 actually my best friend, blind since a very young age, thinks he's better off. They offered him a somewhat risky retinal camera procedure so he could finally see. he said no. You have no conception of what you've never had so he doesn't miss seeing. And he feels so saddened by the world and how superficial it is. He can't see so he judges people on the content of their character by DEFAULT. He doesn't consider his blindness to be a bad thing> just a different thing.

  • @zbraswell2000 he basically said "I have never seen so i judge fairly i think. I don't want to start seeing what all the fuss is about and realize i'm a giant douche.." And i think he's quite right. He's my best friend and i'll tell you right now, he lacks NOTHING.

  • que la suban en españoooooolllll

  • Made me cry happy :')

  • so this is completely random, but I found it funny how she sat by the pump where the pitcher just broke.

  • all my life i wanted to know who helen keller was and thanks to u i do so thank u very very much

  • awwww! what a happy ending!

  • @atlantisforce probably because the actor who played Helen was also like a spokesperson for pepsi a looonnngggg time ago.

  • What year was ths movie made?

  • @andyandymax 2000

  • @sar0043379 Pisk iš čia tokiais metais? tikrai kad ne xD

  • @sar0043379 no way earlier than that.

  • @andyandymax in 2000

  • This is so sweet, I think they should show this in schools. It would really help kids learn to be thankful for what they have. I am 13 and I watched all 17 of these and it was very interesting, and it takes alote to get my attention, I am not deaf or anything but I can sort of imagine that, hvaeing to depend on my other senses to guide me.
