  • Georghiu's version for Grace Bumbry, Kennedy Center honors (2009) is the best version that exists.

  • I love Renee Fleming, but I have to admit that I really loved Leontyne Price's rendition of this aria better..

  • Very slow and measured... the woman is supposed to be in a frenzy asking God what she has done to deserve this. Beautiful voice - no doubt - but lacked the emotion behind the song.

  • She just needs to do Tosca at the Met already, just saying! =) <3

  • It is not for her, she should stick to her own reportoire. Voice too small

and not powerful enough - still a good singer.

  • She isn't meant for Puccini her voice is too caramel :)

  • Renee's voice is exquisite, and I've loved her for years. I have many CDs and DVDs. Thais is an amazing performance. But in all honesty in this performance Renee is flat at times, and the long descending high notes "ah, ah" at the end have no spin. The posted recording from the Nobel Peace prize is better. But neither is Renee at her best. Monserrat Caballe and Kiri Te Kanawa's renditions here on youtube are far superior. Leontyne Price has been praised here. I'll check that out.

  • Oh . . . . .very beautiful. So far I have seen a grand total of five operas (this was my first season of attending) and am familar with the plots and arias, but Tosca is devintely my very favorite. Thank you for asking.

  • I seriously love this song and I love her as well...

  • Beautiful. I am going to go see Tosca in April at the AZ opera. I can't wait!!!!!

  • How was the performance?
