Hey, you know Carter Bidwell! I know him too! He's not all that far from where I live, about like an hour away. He lives in a town called Orange, Tx., which is some miles east of Beaumont and I live in Houston, Tx. I know him from when the Southeast Texas Chapter of the ATOS would meet at the Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont Tx. and he's also with the Houston Chapter of the ATOS.
How amazing! What a small world this sure is! I also just recently became Youtube friends with your friend spatsbear 2 after he accepted my invitation because I'm interested in vintage box fans just as much as he is. And I've been friends for a while with EmersonCollie. I like alot of the stuff they like, basically vintage fans. Organmusic is also one of my interests and I play some.
I've made this one of my favorites. I also have the Jim Riggs version. Even though he's one of my influences, I always seem to come back to your version just to hear what can be done on one small keyboard. Super sound! I also envy the heck out of you playing by ear. I have to rely on a piece of sheet music. Always enjoy your videos. Keep them coming!!
Awesome as usual Nate, such a full and brilliant sound with just one manual and four octaves... Still in awe at that left hand of yours! Five and Faved.
Yup, originally cut in 1929 by the Poet of the Organ. Next time I'm at a big theatre console, I'm going to spend the entire day getting this one right! lol

This comment has received too many negative votes show
i think wurlitzer music is creepy. It goes on on forever. I imagine this is the music they play in hell.

If so, you better get used to it.

Wow! You got more out of one manual than most do with four. Very good indeed! A congratulatory wave of the Crawford Panatella to you, Nathan!

I'm honored you think so. But, I have a very long way to go, yet.
Organgrinder010 4 years ago
That was great. A lot to do on one manual. You pulled it off nicely. Bravo!

The angle's actually kinda cool - I like seeing things from unusual points of view. As always, great playing, Nate!

Haha, well maybe I'll experiment with more points of view from now on. lol
Thank you for the comment.
