beautiful cover, very well done. just with his facial expressions alone you can tell he's truly enjoying himself to be covering radiohead's best works.
Your advertisements are offensive. The internet was not created for the purpose of trying to sell us (the users) shit. Please understand that while we are moving further towards a digital existence the needs and desires of corporations (making money) are substantially out of line with the people of this Earth (exchanging information, art, and in this particular case beautiful music).
@whacksteez Few words buddy: firefox and adblock plus. Haven't had obnoxious ads I didn't ask for interupting my viewing telling me I'm inadequate 'cos I'm not buying some shite that has nout to do with the video I'm watching since i installed them. So if you haven't already, I'd recommend getting them.;)
I digg his interpretation of this piece, though at times I felt his tone was a bit off from the conventional way this song is played. Still, props to O'Riley for doing a 'radiohead' and playing this song the way he wanted to. . .
@futurfry i suggest you to hear "EXOGENESIS 2: CROSS POLLINATION " from muse its a master piece of music all arrenged by matthew, this looks like a childs play next to it
I saw a "Progressive" commercial came on, you know the ones with that hideous and annoying girl with the one liners?
In a frantic search for the close button i heard Chris play the first note, and from that point on was mesmerized and listened to it all the way through, twice.
It's a beautiful song, but I feel like the melody doesn't lend itself to instrumentalization. I don't know how to explain it... he did a good job with it nonetheless. As for the rest, it's amazing.
Every interpretation of Radiohead's material I hear (and i've heard them in all genres) only underscores the creative genius behind it. And happy birthday Thom!
wow this guy can play!

That may not be the purpose of the internet, but it is actually the central driving force of most websites via ad revenue.

@mexchas
The beginning was terrific, but the song quickly devolved into just another bombastic Queen ripoff.

@ClumsyRoot yeah seriously i thought i had a new band to listen to until he started singing that god awful ballad then i realized it was muse again

@mexchas sorry but no muse cover can beat a radiohead cover.
just the same as no muse song will ever come near to comparing to radiohead.

Great video and the separate interview is great too. But the song is called Subterranean Homesick Alien.

Thanks for fixing the title! One other thing: it's Christopher O'Riley, not O'Reilly :-)
