I do not think that enough people really appreciate how difficult it is to do what Rene does. This song makes me feel good and it is special. I have to admit that I thought it would come down to Rene or Josh. I agree with so many of you about Amaro. Gosh she sounds like so much more of the same. Not that she does not have a beautiful voice, but so do many artists in that genre. Rene has stage presence along with unique talent. I downloaded this and will listen every morning to get me started!

He worked as a sanitation engineer...He had an addiction and broke it whereas most people would have fallen deeper in despair. He`s been to the lowest point that any person could possibly go to in life and came back a stronger man, for his son and himself. On top of that, he writes his own music which is -- The Truth. @skeetajohnson You'll probably be saying something different when he very likely could be the biggest star from this show regardless if he wins or not. His originality, charisma, and stage presence will get him signed soon. I can already hear his voice on the radio. He doesn't have the greatest voice in the world but he just has that "it" factor. Its pretty obvious. Plus if you checked out any of his original songs, that alone should make him big. I don't think Melanie or others have that.

It takes education and dedication to change your reputation.. Anyone that heavy drinks and goes two months without drinkingt knows how it feels . Chris gets it!! his song inspires people to keep ongoing ... :-) They are many amazing talent people with great voices; but it takes a mega talent person to break through feelings and compose truly good music that inspires changes in human behavior and sound good at the same time.

I like all 3, but Chris's final solo was the weakest. The staging was lame (dunno if this is what he wanted), and just doesn't fit the lyrics??? He's a great guy, and I hope he gets megarich, but he shouldn't win this contest. Josh's piano and guitar skills, his songwriting (check out his youtube originals), and his ability to bring it (in key!) every week in this whole season of shows makes him my clear choice. Melanie has the voice, but not the depth of Chris and Josh in other respects.
