The fact that he was screaming and shouting yet maintaining his composure as well as the crowd keeping their calm tells me that there was little chance of a riot breaking out. We have the right to express our anger and thoughts, just as some of you have the right to call him an idiot. The minute I lose the right to defend him, you lose the right to demean him. As a veteran myself, I have seen the police be condescending about my service, because their street mission is primary. Honestly, he is real lucky that the NYPD did not kill him for that, right there. Their "white shirts" wanted to avoid a media frenzy. So I am making a blanket statement that this group of people are murderers, of course not everyone of them personally murdered a child but as a group everyone is part of the structure. If one person shoots a child and the other is driving the get away car they are both guilty of horrible morals in my book

@slickbtk the fact is many of them were lied to about what the dangers were, joined the armed services and had to follow orders. They, many, had no knowledge for years that they had been lied to about the cause of any war they were in.

Also, it is way unfair to simply assume that all vets are "murderers". I'm sure this man knows all to well the lies he has been fed from his government.

The propaganda makes you detach from reality and focus your disapproval for the political class instead of the actual "evil doers". Think about it, if your mad at the fact that america invaded a country and murdered innocent people how can you be mad ad the people who sent them there but think the people who actually did it are heroes?

To all you who say what we did in Iraq had no honor, you're missing the point. You may be right, but that is an international, political situation of which our soldiers are merely enforcers of policy. Probably very much wrong w/it, I agree. But the marine's point is solid. Right or wrong, war is subject to the rules and definitions of war. Criminalizing unarmed American citizens by our own police forces is wrong.

But the point the guy is making is that these cops are waging violence on an unamarmed American public which is exercising its constitutional right to protest. If cops want to wage violence, they can go to the front line of the war where, whether you agree with it or not, the charge is to, in fact, harm our enemies. Not saying its right, but the marines point is stark and poignant. You should appreciate it in its context

Big man screams at police. In a dictatorship or an authoritarian country like he wants, they would have murdered him and not let him walk away. I tip my hat to the New York City Police department. @slickbtk I think he's worse. He's telling them it's okay to hurt people as long as you wear a different uniform and do it in another country. He was right to yell at them, but he should have been telling them not to initiate violence, period.
Instead, he's shouting at them about honor, how they're tough guys, and how they're scared of him. Why is he parading around in that uniform and comparing everything to himself? He thinks he's a god. It's truly terrifying.
