I miss Nigeria, not the physical nigeria as I was home a yr ago but the Nigeria of my childhood, like a nostalgia. We werent perfect, we were used to radio and TV announcements of coups, to war against indiscipline and SAP, and somehow we worked. Not saying that we dont now, but seems we are so eager to distance ourselves from the past that we neglect that we might have much to gain from it.

This song puts tears in my eyes, think it came out when I was in primary 4 or 5. God bless you for it.

You can believe it, l featured in the recording and video of this song way back in 1989/1990 when l was in primary 6. We were being coached then by my adopted mother, mrs sweku umoren, mrs tayo thomas, uncle dave and mrs shokenu.

the song was actually performed during the 1989 children day show at the national theater with the then head of state's daughter, alima, among the group.
