  • Thank you soooo very much for posting this video. I went to the gym and was not able to return the 3rd day as my legs, thighs, lower back arms were so soar... now i know why.. I did this cool down exercise today.. and now I am ready for gyming again.. going right away.. Thanks once again.

    Oh man that's what I tried to say.. It's exactly like that. Sometimes I look like an old man walking with my hand making pressure on my back above the kidneys. It's so embarrassing coz I'm 31 only. Happens @work when I lift more weight than I can. When I'm still "hot" I only notice being tired but as time passes wow I can't move with cramps mixed with muscle pain everywhere. I get scared of making a wrong move all the time. I look like a dummy sometimes, I just can't move man.

    You should stretch as far as you can Comfortably. If you're feeling pain, you're going too far. Not everyone is as flexible as the woman in this video. It's important to always listen to your body. I for one can't touch my toes or ankles. That's ok, I just reach as far as I can without causing injury. We'll become more flexible over time as long as we continue stretching.

    As it's been said to you it's a lot more painful the next days. In my case let's say I make a lot of effort in a 2h football game (or any other effort working for example) I just can't "move" for 3 days with localized pain! Man u don't imagine how bad it hurts when it happens! I've practiced amateur boxing 11y ago for 1y 1/2 and as u know it pushes real hard (as any other amateur and pro sport). Many times more than 3 hours and loosing 2kilo in a training and I weighted 58kg. [...]

    continuing.. After the training we all joined to cool down and stretch. Almost it wasn't allowed to go to shower or leave without stretching for at least 20min. It was one of the most important rules we had back then. I regret forgetting the exercices. I used to give no value to that but now I know how it "saved" my pain for the day after! These videos made start doing it for maintenance. I don't practice anything now and I'm lazy but I feel so fresh the day after doing this

  • i tried this yesterday in the gym (the best I could as I didn't remember it perfectly) and felt great. i'm working at home on the treadmill today so afterwards i'll be able to have the laptop in front of me so i can follow along with the video which will be helpful until i have it more committed to memory. Thanks for being a poor man's personal trainer.

  • Thank you for this video! I would like to ask you if there is some warm up and cool down for bad knees.

  • why does someone needs to cool down?

  • In simple english, to avoid cramps and get ur heart back to a resting state.

    In biology terms, cool downs regulate blood circulation, therefore ensuring lactic acid is oxidized into...I forgot what(sorry lol). Hence, no cramps.

  • thanx 4 making this video. i just found out y im so sore the next day after my workout it's cuz i don't do the cool down part. i think like most ppl we just didn't think it was necessary.
