I just got the Kodak Playsport camera/camcorder, but the Arcsoft MediaImpression software runs really slow on my computer. I used to use Windows Movie Maker with my Sony Cybershot videos, but the videos from the Playsport won't show up for that software. Is there anyway for me to convert the format of the Playsport videos to show up on Windows Movie Maker?

@major9985 i have the same issue, as i have the same camera. did you find a way to trim multiple spots without repasting the same video? i used windows movie maker before but now i can't because it doesn't support .mov

When I look at my video before it's on make a movie, it's fine. But when I look at a preview of my movie it lags like from place to place! Do you know why? please answer back!

@Exoticy1 it seems like it with mediaimpression. if you are operating on a pc use windows movie maker (but the old kind the new one sucks), the process is less tedious than trimming and pasting the same clip over, it's trimming one continuous clip.

i hope u comment back but this video was made in 2009 and its 2010 right now so i have no idea if they changed it, but i cannot edit it at all. the way u do it is right clicking but i cant right click the video in the time line. can u help me? and ill be glad to make a video response if u dont understand. okay i hope you guys can help. i just purchased the Kodak Zi8. your able to post on youtube and facebook from the software that it gives you. when i record and play it on the Kodak Zi8 i can here sound. but when its on the software i cant hear the audio anyhelp?

Two places to check:In the Edit screen make sure that the "Mute the files audio track" is Not checked and the volume bar on the bottom of the edit screen is up high enough . . . another place to check is the settings and make sure the "Mute all videos" is not checked. Good luck!

i can post it on youtube and facebook with sound. but when i try putting the videos in sony vegas movie studio it comes in mute? also when i hit upload to youtube in sony vegas movie studio the video will only come up on youtubw to be like 5 seconds long when the file states that its 1 minute and 9 seconds

Did you change the file to an .MP4 before using in sony vegas? I made video 21 about it. I just change the extension but you can also convert the .MOV to .MP4 with the mediaimpression.

Thanks much...This program is terrible..I mean come on, no time lime editing?!? ARGHH!!!!! I guess thats what you get for free..But they have to expect old people buying camera...Arcsoft was a horrible choice Kodak went with.
