Yes, i have World In Conflict, as well as some other strategy games, i am always looking for good multiplayer action, although most games i skip and choose only good ones.

direct2drive sells World In Conflict gold edition for 15 pounds at this moment.

But i suggest you buy it only if you will be playing it online - meaning it will be your main strategy multi player game.

Otherwise, if you just want it for single player, or for just casual LAN, i would suggest simply to download it from torrent.

So the choice is yours.

This game is best played with a combination of the pad and headset.

Also, the online for this game is pretty bad now. A new player will simply get annihilated as all the hardcore players who have maxed out all their units will destroy you with just an infantry squad.

This game was sooo disapointment for me. Not much terrain displacement, and rock, papper, siscors layout for unit combat. Little variety in troops. Voice command and massive squad based unit is a plus though.

@Emcmillin09 Start with games like Starcraft 2, Command And Conquer Games, Warcraft 3, World in Conflict, Warhammer Games. Games like those are very user friendly. If you wanna step up to hardcore RTS games then try out the Total War series, Id recommend Rome:Total War and Empire:Total War.

@bjo6strings apparently he is playing on another person's settings, because when u start the campaign theres this part where it calibrates voice recognition to recognize your voice, u say whats onscreen and somehow through jap technology it saves your "Voice Print" (that is tone, volume, and your unique voice dynamics), although i have had some instances where it mistook "2" for "10" and "7" for "11" and vice versa, although that is understandable and it rarely happens

@Daimen555 this game didnt do so good to begin with so the other devlopers didnt take it serouisly and the rts are more popular on computer than consoles so sadly i wouldnt take eigther way but it might have took if their was a story to it and more of a mission to the batle you know with objective rather than just take over base's but for games like this the kinect wouldnt take over and is more for games for kids and rts or shoters games and is limited to what games you can use it on
