The channel itself is based on idiotic driving in Ireland and not about who in particular is doing that driving.
@jsuttonus We have both in the city where I live, the route with more roundabouts is much better and has less queuing. Roundabouts handle lots of traffic and you go places faster and use less fuel. Learn to save petrol and electricity and install some roundabouts like Carmel, Indiana.

@voon100 If the alternative is to cause danger and inconvenience for other road users, then those mere grams of fuel, and a scant few seconds, are both well spent.. Does Ireland (assuming this is the south) have the equivalent to the UK Highway Code? What does it have to say regards this maneuver?

@Irishdrivingbloopers No common courtesy? Usually you don't bull ahead into a hazardous unpredictable situation like this one. You cannot stop when you accelerate because the faster you drive, the longer it takes for you to stop.....

You should have let him in just to get him the fuck out of there. Sometimes you have to switch off the mean streak in the car and this is one of those times.

He had already had the lorry pass by him blowing the horn and was looking (and saw me coming) cos he finally realized he made a balls of it.
There was no other car behind me so he didn't have to stay too long there and as I said before, I do not want a fool like that ahead of me in traffic.
I could easily have stopped in time BTW.
I have plenty of courtesy for other road users but this guy was a twat.
