Whenever I watch these old matches of Venus, I miss her backhand dearly. She used to swing at her backhand and hit it so strongly and hard. Nowadays her backhand is more compact but she can still hit winners from that side. I just prefered how she hit her backhand pre 2006. Its obviously to do with her wrist surgery.

I watch this match when I need inspiration and these highlights don't do this match any justice. As people mentioned, Venus saved 8 match points. There was also an incredible rally where Venus lost a shoe. Capriati hit a shot on match point and people thought she'd won because it was close, the reaction of the camps was awesome. Anyway, summarize the match.
