@lokpor It's so amusing that you are from Hungary and you like the anthem, the guy who composed it was a Hungarian musician called Francisco Jose Debali (born as Debály Ferenc József). Debali, an oboist, after studying in Cerdenia and living in Brazil for a short period, he stayed in Uruguay until the end of his life. The anthem was heavily influenced by the works of Donizetti and Rossini, especially Donizetti's 'Lucrecia Borgia'. Debali also composed the Paraguayan anthem.
