Because weapons and armor break. Epics cost too much to fix and items break far too easily. If items didn't break and cost fuckloads of Gold to fix then I'd probably play it.

But I'm not going to grind for hours for cash to fix my best items in wow. Not to mention wow is just point and click to attack and every 10 your old can play it. It takes ages to get from place to place as well.

You choose Arch class at first: Rouge, Priest, Soldier, or Mage.

Then at 20 you get the real class: Barbarian, Conquerer, ect.

If you are a rouge Archtype you can stealth but the assassin stealths best and barbarian stealth is shit.

This is to all you AOC players out there: I've played WoW for many years now and do decent (For a guy that only has 100% use of one arm and hand I mean!) But I've been a fan of Conan since I read my first Robert Howard story forever ago, and I'm wondering if AoC can be played well, or even semi well using only the mouse, like I have to play while on WoW? If you plan on pvp, it's a decent bit of using the keyboard. Most melee pvp is strafing around each other trying to fight. But if you're more of a pve type of person, you don't have to move way too much.

copperhead, level 20s in AoC have very few class-specific skills. You can't spellweave as a caster, you have generic boring combos as everyone else, and there are no mounts. Basically, about 3/4 of the pvp aspects in AoC are missing from this video. Wait until some videos of battle keep raids come out. You're going to see some real strategy, since everything from formations of different classes to the individual skill setup of a single player affect the entire outcome of the 100+ man battle.

Well, you have to remember this is THE beta, you can't expect all the quirks to be out just yet. By the time this game is released, I'm sure this will be fixed.

This game does remind me of GuildWars a bit, but then again, I haven't tried this game out.

It looks to be very interesting.

Ohhhhh im surpriced that this game still have some hype after there catastrophic open beta with thousands of unsolved bugs and system crashes 24/7. Age of Conan is a disaster game and i wouldnt touch it. Dear youtube fellows - read up on what gametesters have to say about this game before you buy it.
