I really hate to show a bit of anger, but a hug is the biggest basis some people have for KeiichiXRena? (minus Rena confessing in Rei, but that's OVA and doesn't count)

I'm a guy. I've given and received hugs it's mostly with friends. Of all the people my age I've hugged, there have only been 2 romantic relationships there (both ended). A hug won't make relationships. When I hug my friends, I do it to show that I'm always there to help

I don't hug them because I love them.

There are speculations that Rena likes him too, but the one who likes him more is Mion.

What does fighting on the roof top have to deal with any coupling?? The only reason why they was on the rooftop, was because Rena was being insane, so Keiichi snapped her out of it. That's what friends are for, correct? To help each other out when they need it. He also hugged Mion, so what difference does it make?

And Keiichi's hugged Mion before. The only reason Rena and Keiichi were on the roof, is because Rena was being an unstable ass. Keiichi merely tried to break her out of paranoia and save everyone elses life.
