You certainly don't mean Indians or Iranians or Lebanese when you say "Asian-American." The second: My family came to North America from Denmark, but that was 150 years ago. Are we "European American?" Wouldn't using that term just be asking to be called a white supremacist? Is there anyone who isn't a "____ American?" If you immigrated to America and now have your citizenship (let's say from China), you're not Chinese anymore, you're American. @jaret217 2 things to say about that. The first is that type of eye shape is not common among asians. It's common among a small portion of Northeast Asian people (like Chinese, Japanese and Korean). You certainly don't mean Indians or Iranians or Lebanese when you say "Asian-American." So I always find it weird when the -descendants- of Chinese, Japanese, Koreans use that word to try and act like one big happy family, which they aren't, and exclude most of the countries that make up asia.
