This guy is a musician first and foremost, with excellent timing, feel and tone. He understands the lyrical aspect to a melody and how to communicate it. He is also playing within himself and the music.

I've no idea if he is a good writer or not, but this guy deserves a future in music.

Yeah, I can be DQ... But I could come to the States... Queen is a big part of my youth... and my life so I just HAD to make the video... I just let other people decide... making music is all I wanna do.. So thats what I do... Cheers Marc

@marcjuh11 You still wouldn't be able to play in the Q.E. band at this time, since you wouldn't have enough time to get the proper paperwork finished so that you could become a legal resident of the US -and- be able to play in this band on a contractual basis.

You still have some hope though, they ARE looking at potential European and Asian mirror bands for this competition in the future.

@inuliger yes, thats okay with me... I just wanted to play this solo, Thats why It says: From The Netherlands... so the judges can feel free to DQ me, and remove me from there page... that didn't happen so far.. But yeah maybe some people enjoy it, thats were its all about isn't it? cheers man

Here's the other problem, some people might now judge you because you used the QE Competition YouTube page as a platform to plug your skills as a musician when in fact you don't qualify to enter to begin with. The competition admins might even also make note of that now.

@inuliger I understand, but that was NOT my intention... they can remove the video... I Thought the tour whas in the USA in the first place... cause the Marc Martel thing whas on dutch tv so I thought cool... I can do auditions... recorded the video and uploaded it;) after that I figured out you have to be US or Canadian citizen.. And I didn't play to show my skills.;) It's a very beautifull piece... but not something to show off youre playing... I just did it because I like playing
