Speaking as a big Hellraiser fan, I am here to say do not waste your time watching Revelations. It FUCKING SUCKS. It's awful; not even so bad it's good. There is nothing redeemable about it.

The story makes no sense, the characters are flat and unidentifiable, the special effects suck, not even the very brief nudity is any good. The new Pinhead actor tries to imitate Bradley, but doesn't even come close.

It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Like donnie darko. you see it and you're like I got to see this cause it's f***** up. So much better than the line up cover from Sream2. The monster thats running along the corridor is on a trolley & rails, you can see it for a split second as it passes through some light from a side tunnel if you put it in slow mo. Not on this clip mind, if you watch the proper film you'll spot it.I remember me n my mates were in hysterics when we saw it. He has been christened "the trolley monster" ever since!

I still get a little freaked out walking down a dark hallway or room at night thinking the walls are gonna open up and Butterball or Chatterer will come out. Pinhead was the least scary of all of the Cenobites, you could talk to him, or in Lemmy's case, play him in poker.

Sure, I like horror movies, but I prefer the ones that try to freak me out with disgusting crap rather then your suspense slasher films which are pretty lame in comparison. Not to say the oldies aren't bad, they are quite good. But, I wouldn't watch for the scare effect, because it just isn't there...
