I use to have that problem in my full sized van. I had 3 alt's putting out 17.8 volts to charge 40 16 volt turbo start batts and a single alt for the 12 volt system. i then put the 3 alt's on a cog belt system seprate off the other system. i went to my local speed shop and got some 8-71 blower pullies and fabed it up. Belt slipping was cured

the bad luck is that, you can spend a fortune to build such a thing, but you cant enjoy it all the time. Not even once each day.... otherwise, your car will start vibrating and many parts will start making noises (interior) and with such a thing may be mechanical parts too... ... so whats the use of spending so much :s ? @MrSkinnypimpin its all about personal preference bro, respect that. the band Moby, uses shure SM58's to record all his albums in a home studio, and his engineer uses Bherringer reference monitors, no ones going to argue he mastered the specific technique and combination for his equipment, just like people have done with kickers. I'd personally take a JL or L-acoustic 18 over a BTL but i'm not denying that theyre good.
