This is one of the best singles Saint Etienne has put out in YEARS - and this coming from a casual fan. Incidentally, "Method Of Modern Love" is being played on HIGH rotation on "Radio Creme Brulee" - An American internet music radio station that features current pop/rock music from both sides of the Atlantic alongside guilty pleasures, forgotten gems, and radio hits from the 80s,90s, & early 00s. tbh, I'm not even sure if it's going to be on an album for now. it might be on their latest best-of, "London Conversations," but even that's not 100% certain. some places list it on the tracklisting and others don't.

I have just received the UK limited edition singles and the digi download. Superb but written by Richard X! (purist comment). Bi miffed the signed copies were first 500 not 1500! brilliant new single! Why do it as a limited edition??

I'm with you Clare - I love St Etienne but they can be hugely frustrating with their limited releases, especially the fan club ones. Luckily, a good friend of mine here in Chicago has a close friend in the UK who ordered it since non-UK residents can't order this edition. Should have it in a few weeks hopefully. Aghhhh!

Thanks so much for posting, apparently it's on official release in the UK only today (Feb 2). Hopefully it'll be included on the delayed London Conversations set. This is right up there with their best singles.
