@thedesertfox79 It can be hard starting out, but if you are careful and prevent your units from being wiped out completely it gets much easier. Higher levels with better items and elite units make the game much easier, especially if one of your heroes has Soul Mirror. Battles become ridiculously easy if you stick with Old Faith. You can control the weather to make your enemies less effective while your units turn invisible and become more powerful and you can even teleport your entire army.

even Rome total war is better than this game. I bought it from steam, and it is very badly made. When you play it you feel like it was made by some starting programmers that need some more tech or something to make a nice game. As comparing this game to EMPIRE TOTAL WAR-THIS IS SHIT! It runs very slowly, i dunno why. The game interface is kinda bad, ETW is MUCH BETTER, and plus battles are small and boring, not realistic. This is a bad game made by poor programmers that can't afford tech....

Well I got it and liked it at first but....I had to jump through so many hoops. The Story forces you to keep on a fast pace not realy giving you a chance to put your own spin on things. Quest after quest they throw them at you faster than you can rebuild to do them much less defend your borders. You can refuse the quest and loose alot. The game FORCES you play... and hurry up and play. Pluss the archers you face in the game out range your archers at any elivation. lacks the freedom total war has
