A Network in a telephone is more than one. Not to be confused by your cell phone network... two different meanings really. The network in a telephone has many different cicuits running through it...so they call it a network of circuits. Hope that gives you some clarification on your question.

hey there in part 1 of this repair you mentioned "the network" what does that mean? I am a bit ignorant and refer to network as more then 1, but seeing this is a single line phone I just don't understand the reference you are making to the section of the phone. Enjoying your repair videos and learning a lot, thanks!

I did something years ago I regret doing now. I had a 2 line 2500 that did not ring. That's all was wrong. Anyway, I threw it away is what I regret.
