after tweakin it a lot u'll be able to fire it up in LOWEST possible settings and get bout 5~15 FPS.

Yes you can do that with your RAM but don't expect much of improvements.

As for OS:

1. Clear your "Startup" folder (Start> All Programs > Startup)

2. Go to "Start" click on "Run", type in "msconfig". From the window that pops up choose tab named "Startup" and disable ALL expect "Windows Operating System".

3. Disable all services that OS doesn't need to run, for example MySQL, Apache or similar. (Start > RUN > type in "services.msc")

As last, change your theme to "Clasic" and restart your PC.

Also you can get yourself extra HD (or even two or more) and set them up in RAID 0 configuration. This will speed up the game.

Well, even at lowest specs Crysis looks pretty good. Trust me, I was running Crysis on all low on my old computer, and it still looked OK.

Well the X600 is "below minimum spec" but it has the proper feature list support (DX9.0b, 256 MB VRAM) so it will run the game. Surprised it runs this well.

yeah dude nvidia is shit, i baught a nvidia card and whenever i tried to play a game with good graphics like far cry 2 on full settings it would overload and the display driver would stop workin or some shit so the screen would go black then come back and play fine for a couple mins, and i googled so much was NO problem fix at all and SOOO many people have the same problem n now i have an ati and no problems at all and it runs soo fkin smooth on any game

No such thing as a dual core gpu :D lol it is simply 2 cores on one board, meanwhile a dual core CPU is 2 cores in 1 chip. and the only X2's out are in order worst to best, 3870X2 9800X2 and the 4870X2 and it lags on higth for a 9600? try turning down or off the shadows should fix it btw.

lol these are the lowest settings and i was lagging. if you watch this in high quality there is the fps display up in the right hand corner. At certain points the game went under .1 fps i had to wait 24 seconds (max) for 1 frame. My computer was brand new almost 4 years ago so yeah its barely meets requirements for most games.

i'm not sure you can upgrade. The problem would be if you get a new card that needs more voltage the motherboard might not be able to support it. I suggest looking at the powercolor radeon hd 2600xt the stock clock on our cards is 398mhz the stock clock on this is 800mhz and its $50 on newegg (.)com but it needs more voltage and the dell brand motherboard might not support it. Also i am assuming since you have the same cad as me that it is pci-e thats why i suggested the one i did.

ive got a dimension 5100 which originaly came with a p4 2.8 1 g ram, 300 w psu and x600 gpu.

now i have pentium D 3.0, 2 g ram 520 w psu and 7600 gt (damn bastard 7600 is starting to die vram is buggerd damn). will be getting a 9800 gt, but i think ill go back to x600 for now 7600 is artifacting all over the place even with low temps. o well.
