Ret and Shock are both good PvP specs but i find Shock more fun! Plus u dont need to find a healer for Heroics if u are shock and have 2 sets of gear :)

Not quite. Any healing gear you have now has spell damage as well, old school it didn't exist.

Actually my gear for this is pretty bad. I'm wearing 6 healing pieces, 3 prot pieces (head, hands are t4 prot belt is badge), and two are mail.

149 Resilience WITH the pvp trinket on. One piece of s1, vindicators lamellar bracers, and kharmaa's shroud of hope (healing) make up the entirity of my pvp gear.

That is why I spent the time there to show the gear, but I understand in youtube quality you probably can't read it.

My weapon and shield are my main, they are very nice though.
