all this weight loss shit does not work guys... the only diet that works for real is a low carb high protein diet. I know 5 people that did it and im one of them. It works 100% and its not unhealthy. that's stupid your body needs energy you have to eat every few hours or your body will go into starvation mode and store more fat, you will lose the muscle not the fat and the muscle is what burns fat so after you kill all your muscle and lose that weight, you will gain more weight back.

I don't think eating before is not a bad idea. I usually try not to eat after 5,and I lose weight easily. Brisk walking on top of that you would really lose weight. I lost 20 pounds in 10 days just by brisk walking for 45 minutes 4 times a week. Good advice!

@2005kloud9 -My church teaches some common sense on this point, and i & many others i know have experienced it to be true: IT IS IMPORTANT TO STOP EATING AT LEAST 3 HOURS BEFORE BED for these reasons: the body cannot digest well during sleep, food in the stomach can cause restless sleep, and the lack of calorie buring during sleep hours will quickly contribute to weight gain. As vegetarians however, we certainly encourage people to eat a piece of fruit in the later evening to help with hunger.
This is bad advice about stopping eating after 4pm. That's insane and will cause your body to think it's starving and begin to store fat. Bodies need food regularly to speed your metabolism. Just eat healthy and every 4hrs or sooner while you're awake. Don't take appetite suppresants. They will cause the cycle of storing fat again because you won't eat enough. I would not go to this doctor if he thinks is starving the body is a good thing.
