I think if you wait one right before the solo it's closer to optimal. Because in my video I still override OD in the solo, waiting one fixes that.

I'm running the song a few times to see but the scores are pretty close between the two paths I think.

oh snap you do, well then yeah waiting one more, or maybe two? doesnt seem like skipping ONE fill catches the OD in the intro to the solo, ill have to test if its one or two but the idea seems totally right.

It does, I tested it. You probably have to hit the cymbal late or squeeze in that triple snare thing XD. But I've got it every time hitting the cymbal late. Skipping two also might take you into the solo and screw the whole thing up.
