Actually, if you read the beginning of Genisis very carefully, you'll find that Jehovah is Marduk. Seeing that this is the case, I would also count Marduk as the devil, going against Tiamat whom I side with.
Isn't that interesting how Christian hymns and prayers always end with Amen? Sitchin says Marduk was later called Amen and or Amon as "the unseen god" (Sitchin-end of days 2006 earth chronicles). It's like they think their praying to YHWH then they finish their prayer with Marduk dedication.

So Marduk would be the "Devil" in the bible, the accuser of Jehovah. He would be associated with the Dragon, the old serpent etc....I get that Nabu was a forerunner of christ but what I don't get is why Jesus, if modelled on Nabu, was in support of getting RID of the dragon/serpent/Devil and why New Testament dialogue talks about crushing the serpent and restoring the rule of Jehovah ? There is a clear dichotomy there so can someone explain it ?

Isn't that interesting how Christian hymns and prayers always end with Amen? Sitchin says Marduk was later called Amen and or Amon as "the unseen god" (Sitchin-end of days 2006 earth chronicles). It's like they think their praying to YHWH then they finish their prayer with Marduk dedication.

YHWH is Marduk. You are correct in them ending their prayers with Amen. :) A lot of people don't recognize this. Not only is Marduk YHWH, so is Enlil and Enki. This is only a title, not a name. Marduk took over the role of Enlil when he took upon the 50 names. Plus the reason for the upheaval when Moses came down from the mountain, was because the sign of the Bull=En.lil, (Taurus,) had passed and now was the sign of Aries, which is the Sign of Marduk. :)

Enki and Enlil didn't have problems until they got into disagreements, don't see how the mesopotamian gods have anything to do with the bible. Nimrod was never a real king.

In one of Zecharia Sitchen's earlier books, he presented Abraham as an agent of Enlil, which is supportive of your hypothesis.
However, in his last book, "The End of Days," he presentrs Abram as an Enbki'ite cavalry officer.
Either way, it appears to me that the composite character Yahweh represents a notable level of balance between Enki and Enlil. In my opinion, such cosmic neutrality is why the Jews were "Chosen" as stewards of the neutral zone, the holy lands.

However, in fear that they would become "gods" and cause "commotion that would disrupt the Anunaki" they were limited to 120 years on Earth with a few genetic flaws... if you want to dig even further into the lore - then think that MARDUK (or ENKI) used the blood of a slain god from the Ancient Ones (KINGU) to fashion men - so we are a walking turmoil reliving the primordial fight within us. I am concerned that Marduk is testing us, and will be reinstated as a reward. I think that in order to do this Marduk took over the precessional age of his great Father, Ea, which is our current age. Thus the great Ea is paying for His actions in the Garden of Eden. I understand that each of us is from one of 12 groups (and an odd 13th) whose ancestors followed different leaders, and maybe your ancestors followed Marduk. If so, you will not be fond of me for this, but I still think it is true.

I think that it is important to see the earlier Sumerian records as belonging to the precessional age of Adad, and to remember that after that age Adad was no longer Enlil -it was only a temporary title and was handed over to Marduk until the beginning of our current age. All twelve precessional rulers served the One, and the struggle between Adad and Marduk only weakly reflected the ongoing dispute of Lord Ea's line with the One and its eventual (and much celebrated) resolution.

I have always thought that Tezcatlipoca was Marduk since in Mesoamerican mythology Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl were opposing brothers.
