  • CFL

  • kendalll has daddy issues. get ur shit together and give your head a dam shake. i tyyped that shit back then and where is lummsden now. hes just a flake off youur moms panti shit head. ima piss all over u faggot. peace nigger

  • He doesn't belong in the NFL.... you're giving the guy too much credit. He's playing in the CFL and failing to do as good as some guys do in the NFL.

  • great mcmaster graduate

  • lumsden is way better then what you showed

    terrible montage

  • All he does is get injured all day every day.

  • i wonder how long this guy would last against the likes of ray lewis, brian urlacher ect.....probly not long if the cfl guys are hutin him so easily

  • players in the nfl are faster than the cfl and this guys great but i couldn't see being able to get to the place he has to be before the play develops and the defence realises whats happening

also jrodan said he had injury problems who wants to pay a guy millions if he has had a history of injury

  • Olympic bobleigh and Professionmal football player

  • You assume the NFL is better. It's not, That's just a myth. The NFL looks for template, robotic players to execute very narrow game plans. The CFL is all about imrov and athleticism. Think about it .... bigger field and 2 more players equals far more variables any given play ... thats just a mathematical certainty. Its a different game.

  • dude hes alright, but his shoulder is fucking him over, and now hes an olympian, on the bobsled team for CANADA!!!

  • no offence intended towards the country but everyone knows canadians cant play football, thats the only reason ths guy stands out he would be like steve slaton,ok in his 1st year but then absolutely suck in the next.

  • who is he playing agianst? oh, OK then

  • watch when i get in im gonna kill his first year stats!!!!!!

  • sheesh. i can't think of a worse insult for a football player than to say he deserves to be playing in THAT league.

  • if he had more plays like 2:06 he has a CHANCE, but besides that all i see is a guy that cant break off first contact. sucks

  • those screen and mid cut passes are really his strong attribute, i see this guy like walker , possibly even better

  • Man i feel bad for jesse he's gotten really unlucky with injuries lately, he should be in the nfl people who say he isn't fast enough are fucking dumb! he runs a 4.40 40 yard dash look up other running backs that as equal or better then half of them. also people say y isnt he in the nfl take a look at how many canadians are in nfl and take a look at how many white running backs are in the nfl.

  • ya and what is he doing now? he dislocated his shoulder and no longer plays! hes in the olympics doing the bobsled

  • ya mabe if he would be in the NFL but he wouldnt be starting

  • nfl linebackers would eat him

  • how do you figure? he never was given the TRUE opportunity to start in the NFL..sound familiar to something in the past?

  • If he was good enough to be in the NFL then he'd already be in the NFL. Even if he somehow DID make it, there's no way he'd be a feature back. Even for Buffalo or Detroit. He's not fast enough.

  • such a lucky bounce when he drops it

  • I went to university with this guy and nobody works harder than this guy. He is humble, a respectable person. He has a lot of God given talents and regardless of whether or not WE (who the fuck are WE anyway) think he should be in the NFL, I wish him all the best in all his athletics, and for that matter, all his endeavors. He has represented Burlington, Hamilton, McMaster University, Edmonton, and now Canada with so well, he deserves a lot of credit and respect.

  • really? he would be equal to or better than any power back in the nfl? hmm.. im thinking of one adrian peterson that would work this kids shit. plus the others are right, if the cfl players can injure him, imagine a nfl linebacker, safety, or lineman, he would be demolished.

  • @cpizzle9 you mean the adrian peterson who fumbles everytime the wind blows? just checking....

  • so he fumbles a few times. doesnt mean he sucks. i live in minnesota and im a proud fan of the vikings. hes better than this kid obviously because hes in the nfl.

  • @cpizzle9 listen dude i don't really wanna argue with you. But did you really say that? A fumbling running back is the def. of a bad running back it's about the worse thing he can do in that position. i wasn't talking about jesse, jesse got called up to the NFL twice but had injury problems.

  • I had a guy on my team junior break the CCS single season rushing record(california). ran a 4.5. 6'1'' and 190. 0 scholarships and isn't playing football anymore. The NFL isn't for everyone.

  • this gu fuccin succ.....he belongs in high school....he cant even break the initial tackle.....and he keeps getting chased down by those sorry players....his speed and power is nowhere close to the nfl.....take this video and shove it up your ass....do you see the college players that are trying to go to the nfl...they are faster stronger and smarter....this guy fuccin succ...

  • gonna be a bobsledder for my country. better damn make sure he passes every drug test they have, before he makes us the fool

  • he would be a full back

  • Running style is no good for the CFL - - much less the NFL. Too upright and leaves himself open for big hits - - which is why he's always injured. If LBs in the CFL blow his shoulders out imagine what the LBs in the NFL would do.

  • Impressive speed for a white kid, but but only average in breaking tackles and change of directions. I think NFL would be a little too high for him...

  • You can tell how well he breaks tackles by a 9 minute video?Either way he won't be going to the NFL.The closest would be Wes Cates.Fantuz might make it to the NFL he's a WR.

  • he's a lil too slow for the bigs yo!!

  • the problem is he's too stiff, he has straight line speed but to be an NFL rb, you have to be able to stop on a dime and change directions and then be back up to full speed again. That's why guys like Darren Sproles can play in the league. Change of direction.

  • If a 5' 6 Darren Sproles midget can play in the NFL, i think a 230 pounder that runs a 4.4 can make it aswell.

  • your an idiot, just because some guy weights 230 pounds and runs a 4.4 doesnt mean he can cut it in the nfl

  • ah now dont be mad

  • LOL ME MAD? yall the ones that are mad cuz his ass isnt in the league LOL

  • @Soldier803 actually it's kinda the definition

  • definition of what?

  • out of you mind if you think he can play in the nfl

  • yeah the fact that he was dropped by the seahawks before :p and now he's harsh injury prone.

  • I love him.. u know why.

    Becuase he my cousin.

  • He's a great player...in the CFL. He may be a power back in the CFL, but there are not very many physical freaks in the CFL compared to the NFL. In the NFL, he would be a moderately decent running back, but he should just stay in the CFL and remain a great player and enjoy a great career

  • He's always injured...and that's playing in the CFL, he's wicked, don't get me wrong, but he'd have to be a FB in the NFL, he was cut by Redskins...no way was he gonna beat out Clinton Portis.

  • how does this video show that he needs to be in the NFL. all it is, is a compilation of semi-decent runs. nothing spectacular by any means. i think he's a good CFL player but nothing at all. there's a reason he's not in the NFL, obviously.

  • guys a band aid theres a reason hes in the CFL cuz he cant play with the big boys

  • NFL is a joke

  • There are guys on every practice roster in the NFL that are better than lumsden.

  • If only he could stay healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wtf at 1:15 I didnt think you could have the number 0 in a Roster

  • Blue bombers Ike charlton has 0

  • hes alright but its not like id draft him in round 1 or nuthing

  • hes not even that good hes a wanna be brandon jacobs but cant really hit like him. as you see in the beginning when he tried to run over people he also goes down with them. he pretty good but not yet

  • shutup you dont shit about him.

  • Thank You people !!!, As I previously mention this guy can't play. I'm a hell of a lot better.

  • his not that awesome, you should be talking about charles roberts, he doesn't belong in the cfl, nd be proud of ur countries league godamnit

  • Jesse has never even belonged in the CFL.

Let me guess JesseGotGypped you went to Mac?

Our is your first name Jesse?

Kyle Pyear: ten times the back.

    Huerta-Flores: ten times the back.

Dean Jones: ten times the back

Luis Perez: ten times the back

but I guess none of their Dad's have the same sort of pull...

Sorry but if you think this guy belongs....

    you don't.

  • We got a saying that fit's here. Looks like Tarzan, plays like jane. When somebody has his size and speed, and breaks down that much, combined with the facts that all his injuries are joint and ligament related, people start talking about steroids. Footballs rough and football players get injuried but the he's been getting hurt like this since Mac.Players who read this will know what I'm talking about.

  • lumsden does not diserve to be in the nfl, he is only a cfl player and he gets hurt all the time. now imagine him in the nfl

  • lumsden is a phenomenal player, too bad he's been plagued by injuries his whole career.

though i'd be more sympathetic if he didn't play for the eskies

  • @jrodan17 Imagine your ans eskies fan, get all jacked up to have him on your team only to see him injured his first quarter...

  • Great player , but maybe done now

  • LANDON KENNEDY KICKS ASS

  • Bottom line:

Lumsden is made of glass and his body is just plain not durbale.

Not even durable enough for the CFL for christs sake!

He was cut by the NFL because they saw how breakable he is. If you're not tough enough for the CFL, then the NFL Linebackers would KILL him.

    No argument.

  • career is over

  • Lumsden will never be nfl bound, take a look at the backs in the nfl. tottally different. This guy won't last another season thats for sure, who is going to want him after his injury to the shoulder that he just had surgery on..Rider Pride baby. Get these injury cases outa here

  • i feel for this guy, he was soo pumped up for the first game in an eskimos jersey, and he gets injured ..i really feel bad for this guy

  • the CFL is a joke and im CANADIAN

its just an excuse to call themselves professional athletes

    get a real job!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you are a Canadian (LatinoHomeboy) you are just another spick that we don't want in this country. Just another border jumper..fuckin faggot. Fuckin goof

  • @smcrury wow your fucking cool insulting someones racial background. I'm saddened at the fact that your Canadian... your the fucking faggot and fucking goof get a live you fucking hick.

  • you know nothing about the cfl

  • he seems average nothing special

  • u are all dumb he got alot faster in 09 and he does know how 2 run over people he has all the skill.,

    SKILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • he is definately good enough tobe in the nfl but....he is way to injury prone and the nfl probably does not want to pay a 26 year old back with bad knees and a fucked up ankle . also im very sure that in his upcoming career he will be a star in the cfl but im pretty sure he wont go up to the nfl .

  • He's always injured because he's not in that great of shape. I saw a video of him lifting his arm in the hallways to test his shoulder when it was hurt, and he didn't have a shirt on, he looked a little flabby. I mean he's still a tank but im sure being more physically fit would help eliminate some of his injuries.

  • oone of the worst cases of the caste system.

  • he is defentally not going to make it in the NFL he can barley make it in the CFL hes so injury prone. he runs way to high and exposes his body way to much thats why he only played 5 games in 2 seasons with the ticats! he was injured all the time. he will never make it!

  • I'm a football player. I can tell you this guy is BAD !! His very low skilled, his cuts are extremely poor, He tends to put his head down and run directly into midfield opposition. (You're not suppost to do that !! ). He Isn't EVER going to play in the Nfl.

  • Yeah I dont think so. While hes shown in the past he has the talent hes proven to be a little too injury prone.

If the CFL is hurtin him this much just imagine what the BIG DOGS in the NFL would do to him.

  • I AGREE WITH CRY CAN. Injury prone. Actually, he's a pussy. Stick with the bobsled. Smart move Hamilton. Good Luck Edmonton. He's no Tom Richards. He's had two NFL camps, how many chances does he get?

  • Hey thats CrzyCan ;-)

    Cheers

  • he is a good back, but he runs high and he isnt strong enough, im not hating but ive plaed pro ball and speed is great but he would be a better returner than a running back. Put it like this in the right scheme he would be great a back but if he has to pound, he wouldnt make it two yrs.

  • maxiboy u dont kno wat ur sayin first off the packers, lions, colts,or on the west coast he would be a monster hes like bradon jacobs but faster and if he was a 2nd slot reciver he would do wonders for ppl like the giants or colts or even the pats

  • you honestly think that jesse is like brandon Jacob? i'm sorry but i highly doubt that. He is sickk back, but there is just no way that he could possibly start on any NFL team, maybe like some crap team or as a Fullback but not RB. I already told you, he doesn't have the quickness or decision makin ability. P.S Brandon is like 6'5 and 250. and he can run faster than Jesse L.

  • Brandon Jacobs is very big....but for a running back lumsden is quicker,is way more swifty and has better hands and lumsden does have a lot of power at 6'2 235.

Jacobs just runs straight because hes big. He does No Cuts, he is just power down the middle.

Oh yeah, one more thing If Ricky Williams can make it in the NFL i think lumsden can too

  • haha lets not bring ricky in here. lol i agree with you but dude the reason why brandon don't cut is because NFL defences are very quick and will easily be all over the runningback by the time he makes the move. it happens with all the runninbacks wether if they are the fastest one. and ohh yeaa brandon could cut pretty dirty, u gotta see some of his highlight videos. and we'll see but jesse will never be a starting runninback, first, his canadian and he doesnt have that quickness

  • he is sick player, ill give you that. But in NFL, he'll likely to be 3rd string or maybe 2nd string back, deff not a starting Back though. There are too many players who has same body types as him but much quicker than him , so i would guess he has a better chance at Tight end or Fullback.

  • ok go ahead, out of the posible teams like the colts bill, or lions, etc.. which back like him - 230 and 4.38 speed with cuts like a rabit- is better than him? name me oh say 3?

  • Its got nothing to do about him being a good back. Black or white. The guy can't play a full season. Even at Mac he missed the Yates Cup. Can't take a hit.

Mark my words, he will miss more games then he will play for Edmonton.

  • lol, he can take hits, infact he delivers them, but for injuries, he may miss some, but it doesnt mean its going to happen every single season. i dont think hes like my boy mcnabb in philly.

  • Will miss at least 5 games with Edmonton.

  • haters

  • There is not one white tailback in NFL. All white backs play fullback. Not racism-just the facts. Plus a real tough stretch to go from CIS to NFL.

  • this guy is mediocre in the CFL thts nothing in the NFL he would get murdered...i hope this is a joke

  • college and the pros are diffrent kyea this boy looks good but in the pros he jus get murdered look at reggie bush he was badass in college bush considered a bust in the pros

  • he is still good.... its just that he is on a team that doesnt run alot and horrible o-line

  • these bigots would see john riggins and say he could not make nfl today

  • practice squad player in the nfl....not Nearly fluid enough

  • BS,Racism kept him out

  • Racism kept him out?????

    Are you totally nuts!!

What planet do you live on?

How many games will this hack miss this year??

  • never was allowed to carry ball even once in a pre-season game-you must be black or self hating

  • It's not black, its not white. He might even have the talent to maybe one day, if he's lucky crack an nfl roster. It's heathly, which he can't stay. Its just a matter of time before he hurts himself on the bobsled team.

  • Too Stiff

  • The guy can't stay healthy enough to play a full season of co-ed rec tough football.

He's a bust. Good luck Edmonton. Smart move Ti- Cats, let him go!!!!!!!!

  • touch football...

  • Can't make the club in the tub.

  • he is good he will prababy make it in NFL

  • ya right

  • he's not good enough,

sure he's a star in the CFL,

    but NFL no

  • He runs too straight up...

  • he could play in the NFL, only as a back up though! Looks really stiff in the hips and doesn't have any wiggle. I see him as a stud on special teams! Good luck!

  • he can't really break any tackles.

  • Im related to jesse lumsden

  • Nothing compared to Sam McGuffie.

  • Im related to jesse lumsden

  • i do think he should be in the NFL

but he does need to work on his grip

so he wont fumble as much

  • Thats not what he needs to work on, hes got good hands and he dont really fumble often. He just needs to work on staying healthy. Hes always injured, but hes still amazing

  • Oh ya and one more thing, he fumble's the ball ALOT. I understand fumble's do happen, but for someone to be an all star he sure does drop the ball alot.

Its funny to cause when in Hamilton they announce Lumsden... I say FUMBLIN TUMBLIN LUMSDEN.

    Ti-Cat fan by the way.

  • THe reason why he is not in the NFL is cause this guy is Injury prone, he can't play more then 6 games. And when he does play, he carries the ball 3 times then back on the sideline hurt. The NFL scouts seen this a mile away and knew about it. He's great, but always hurt and always will get hurt.

  • I luv his 4.40 speed.... db's are look quite surprised as he runs past them. Funny really.

  • wats the song called

  • and all he is breakin is arm tackles... OPEN YOUR EYES

  • well yeah..but you have to admit... the NFL is a whole different game... ppl are faster stronger and a helluva lot smarter

  • Finishes his runs, dosen't avoid punishment, great blocker and crazy good vision, hits the holes with speed and convicition!

  • dont know much about this guy but just from his video he does show effort and doesnt stop when someone is on him... ill keep looking around for more of his video

  • i disagree ...he has only did it in college and proven nothing in the bigs...

  • AU GOLD!

he cant break a tackle and has bad balance did you even watch?

  • He got injured at seahwaks camp and redskins and just had surgery are you STUNNED! If he wasnt injury plaggeud he could've had a chance

  • he is always HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALWAYS

  • Yeah... he is good but he cant break a tackle worth shit and needs better balance

  • Would be a decent fullback

  • NICE u guys arent givin him the credit this guy deserves

  • DAM 4:03

  • lumsden gets injured too muchh he would be no good in the NFL

  • That guy isn't anything special. He is one hell of a guy, with a good speed, but whenever he got a tackle he falls.. With a bad o-line he couldnt do anything, its the o-line who should be in the NFL imo.. Look, the most of the job is done by the o-line, incredible :)

  • number 21 at 2:00 is a freak

  • ye i thought i was the only one who picked it out lol

  • that guy is a beast, but everytime he hit someone he got tackled. most power backs can hit and get away. it has nothing to do with race look at mike alstott

  • yeah, mike alstott listed as one of the all time power runners in the nfl yet he was never the feature back for his team? that has to do with race, he was told if he wanted a scholarship at purdue he had to bulk up and play fb, imagine if he didnt have to add that weight he wouldve been a faster power runner, also look at peyton hillis now, hes doing well in denver despite having extra weight on him because he is bulked up to play fullback

  • hi im a scout for the buffalo bills. i like what you do on the field but white guys can;t play in the nfl sorry

  • oh so that is why the bills have sucked ass so much over the years, someone needs to fire you

  • The Bills have Marshawn Lynch... Why would they even WANT another tall power runner?

Now, I'm not NFL scout, but if I was going to create a RB rotation, I'd try and throw some variety in there, instead of two backs who run almost exactly the same way :P

  • who ever said he not good your dumb. he sick he just get injured ay to much. yea he get tackled he pick up 5 yards a carry at least. what do you want from a running back? touchdown each play

  • hes not even good.... he gets tackled everytime i saw no good plays

  • he looks shit. nothing to do with race. he just is shit.

  • Caste Football is the best site to under stand why he is not in the NFL. If your a brainwashed fan like so many average white men, you might not like the facts found here. I dare anybody to check out this most educational site.

  • MSG ME ON MSN MESSENGR !!! ID IS jane24belle l

  • like i said, he belongs where he's at. He's a good player where he's at.

I'm not going to say he'll get eaten alive in the pros - he can hold his own. But, he's not going to excel.

  • Ive been duped by professional coaches since 2001 and now by a video. Check out 1:53where he outruns 180 lb DB's.

  • he is not to slow, his forty time doesn't lit. Name some backs in the NFL with this size and speed. I know it is sad but he didn't make it into the NFL because he is white. The fact is that there are alot of good running backs that are white and don't go pro or get looked at by big colleges, and this is due to the fact that most coaches have a preconcieved notion that a white running back just won't be able to excel in the spotlight.

  • LOL this guy looks like he fucken sux. "belongs in the nfl right now" followed by crappy little clips of him doing absolutely nothing. I srsly laughed out loud - wat a joke.

  • Name some NFL RB's over 225 pounds who run a 4.4/40 like Jesse. I'd be interestested in the answer to that.

  • ok well lookie here dumbass: he doesnt actually run a 4.4, you've been duped.

  • kenton keith may help a little but not much wen he was here in saskatchewan all he did was get in trouble

  • i say he shood stay in the CFL and another thing is he isnt to slow to be in the NFL you remember Jarome bettis from the steelers he was slow as hell way slow then lumsden and if u can plow guys and break tackles like jesse u can be in the NFL its not all about speed

  • Too slow to be in the NFL

Too big to be a hockey player

Should be a wrestler in the WWE

  • hes way to slow

  • fuck man CFL is a realy mans games cuzthe TD are 110 yards apart and the nfl are 100 apart i think and cfl are 3 chances and nfl are 4 chances to make at TD or a first down so CFL is the best

  • How much money? Haha

  • hahaha ,ight be kinda late on replyon this but since when has football ever been bout gettin money like if i where in the cfl or nfl i wouldnt do it for the money i would do it for the luv of the game, i wouldnt matter to me if i get 100,000,000 dollars for playin games in the season, yes it would be nice but that wouldnt be the reason why im playin

  • jesse tried for the redskins and the seahawks, but injuries kept him out

  • jesse lumsden belongs in the cfl. hes a hamilton native playing for his home team. the nfl is really hard to make a life in because theres so many players. its easy to get an all-star ranking in the cfl. Jesse lumsden. All-canadian all star running back. go cats go :P

  • that is one thing i've always respected about Tiger-Cats fans, they are real fans, not like the fair weather fans here in Winnipeg. when i see a Hamilton game on TV Ivor Wynne is always sold out or nearly sold out, regardless of how the team is doing. here in Winnipeg, if the team isn't doing good, no one cares about them. Hamilton has great fans.

  • this guy would get killed in the nfl. shoulda played hockey

  • well he's been to NFL camps, but if he was that good, he'd still be there instead of the CFL, right? he's slower than basically any back in the NFL right now, he's definitely got power and can break tackles like crazy, but the tackling is weak in the CFL compared to NFL. he could play in the NFL, but he'd never be a star and would most likely be used as a backup.

  • He run's a 4.4 forty, which puts him in the tenth percentile for speed. The only thing keeping him out is injuries

  • i know he tore up my Bombers a couple times already, (half the highlights in this video are against us, unfortunately) the kid's definitely got game, but he's more of a CFL guy anyway imo. he'd have a real hard time in the NFL.

  • i think he's much happier where he is now, being a big fish in a small pond. it's hard to say if he could hang in the NFL or not, the defense is ridiculously better in the NFL, i mean light years better than most CFL teams. he's probably happier being a one man team in Hamilton. if it wasn't for him, the Ti-Cats would be 0-18 for the last 2 seasons, he's basically all they got.

  • lol all we got.. wait till we get the kenton keith/lumsden train going full force. Better hold onto ur asses guys.. ticats are coming back and coming back hard.

  • well nice pickup on Kenton Keith. i'm still not sure why Indy cut him, or why no one else in the NFL was interested in him. it's a bonus for you guys, but i'd still say you'll have to wait for next year before you guys can turn your team around. you're getting the pieces together, now you need someone who can put all the pieces in the right place, and Hamilton can go from worst to first in no time.

  • Ya im hoping to hell they improve next year cuz weve been hearing the same speach for 7 years now. it sucks watching ur home team blow like that. the good thing is they have shitloads of fan support still and the games are always nearly sold out. lumsden belongs in the nfl but he's attached to his hometown team now i dont think hed have it any other way.

  • tooooo badddd hes stayin in steel town where he belongs :)...ticats all the way!

  • Guys, I think that the bottom line is if this guy was an NFL calibre player then he'd already be there. Case Closed.

  • I'd like to see a white boy Canadian rb succeed in the NFL, but looking at the tape shows that he doesn't have NFL balance, explosion, quickness, moves. I'd say the biggest thing is he seems to lose balance easily. He looks like an excellent CFL player though. There are a lot of big backs in the NFL who are much smoother runs, ei, balance, burst, explosion, quickness, etc.
