Actually their pick up is almost neck to neck till maybe the 3rd or 4th gear, the Charade beats it. Simply because the Charade is much lighter.

True, the skyline is heavy, provided when it picks up speed, the amount of downforce adds weight to the car. The skyline definitely will beat the charade in a half mile drag race, neitherless to say a 1 mile drag race. The charade's horse power/ tonne ratio is bound to be high due to its light-weightness, the skyline's horsepower / tonne ratio is bound to drop due to its heavy weight.

REALLY FAST lol.. VR-4 is a RB26 Killer. 2 very similar engines rated at nearly the same horsepower. however. the daihatsu is MUCHHHHHHH light i mean it weighs half. in theory 3000/400HP vs. 1400/400HP the 1400/400 SHOULD be twice as fast.

If that skyline has a 1300Bhp capability, it wasn't running that power. Maybe 600-700Bhp at the most. If run at 1300Bhp it would do a high 8sec pass at least, if properly set up maybe a 8sec.
