You would be much better of with one of the cheap electric chainsaws. For that kind of tiny trimming around the yard, they have plenty of power, and start at the touch of a switch :)
Accident waiting to happen... Chainsaw's don't give second chances on mis-handling. Get someone to show you how to use it safely, and with proper protective gear. Even that little Poulan will eat you alive in an instant if mishandled...
Excellent ! I just purchased a chainsaw, I heat with wood and the husband moved this past Sunday...You're video gave me great motivation that Yes ! I can do this !!! I did notice that most of the work was in the actual starting of the machine. I already owned a gas chainsaw, but decided to buy an electric one due to the difficulty of the start... I'd recommend electric for us girls :) Way to go !!!

Luckily i have only Husqvarna 254xpg and 357xpg chain saws. They never get them running.....
