@fathineric ha ha Thanks! To me, a man who can't cook and clean and take care of himself isn't much of a man. (Of course, it's also easier to contribute around the house when you don't have to work 15 hours a day, six days a week, like a lot of the poor salary men in Japan.)

I always love nina's chat times, she is so smart and says such interesting things. I love the way she forms sentences, and her careful vocabulary! @vaular I'm flattered by all the nice comments people leave, and have been amazed at how news of this channel has spread around the world! We just want to make sure that it doesn't affect Nina's day to day life. If Nina becomes too aware of her popularity and starts thinking of herself as a star and trying to perform for the camera, I think she will stop being Nina, so we want to avoid that.

@vaular When Nina is older, she can choose to do whatever she wants, so if she wants to pursue acting or something like that, we will support her. At five, though, we don't want to push her into that kind of lifestyle, because we think it is not a very natural lifestyle for a child.

@vaular Thanks, Putri! Yes, I did get a degree in Psychology, but I never had a chance to use it in a job. So, maybe it can be useful in the "job" of parenting. ha ha Though, really, with parenting, I just try to do what feels natural. My wife is the one who reads books on parenting, so any "techniques" we use come from her. I can tell that parenting is something you feel passionate about, so I'm sure you will be a great parent!

@wowbucket No, age starts from birth, but they do count the months of pregnancy differently. Whereas 9 months is typical in the U.S. they count it as 10 months here I think. Perhaps they count back to the last period someone had? I can't remember, but just know that it's different.

@michaelzole I think in this case, the eee Nina means is like, "Whaaaat?! You're wearing those pajamas again?!" In a lot of Nina's videos she wears these same pajamas so she didn't want people to make fun of her. That's why she put my jacket on at first.

@angelsgurl I wouldn't call it "teaching" so much. Mainly, I just try to only talk to her in English. When she was very young, I was more tempted to use Japanese sometimes when I thought she didn't understand me, but now I never have to use Japanese to explain things to her, so it feels pretty natural to talk to her in English.
