en..bar or no bar, it's just different people have different believes. Theres no single right way to play ddr, this person is good at his own style, AAA on this proofs it. BUT, it's absolutely possible to get a good grade without bar, if one practice on it for a long time. Maybe You can't do it, other people can. DDR videos always have comments arguing about how DDR should be played, I don't think that's the intention of the creator...ask him how to play DDR, see what he'll say...
