  • wah!!!!

  • no doubt...one of the best...

  • Awesome!!!! Keya batt, wah, wah, wah!!!!

  • Defintely THE BEST of his generation!! Pleasure in its purest form to listen to.

  • This guy is NOT the best young sarod player! He is a good young Sarod player

I know my comment is going to be marked as spam but its the truth.

  • @NationalDobro Abhisek Lahiri is most definitely one of the best sarod player of this present generation, if not the best....

  • @rituparna09 One of the best and best are two different things. Yes he is among one of the top 10. But thats that. Playing fast ekhara taans doest not mean he is the best. Lets even take his taans into consideration, Amaan ali Bangash is more advanced. No doubt he's a very good player but just to throw out comments like the best is not warranted. No one player is the best, each have their strong points and weak points. As does Abhishek

  • Great to see this talent in todays upcoming players, amazing laykari.

  • nice...thank for posting

  • very nice tablaplayer , pranam to him !!!!

  • amaizing! kieran

  • Every year I attend big festivals and concerts of Indian classical music in Kolkata, Benaras, Ahmedabad & Delhi during winters... In my view, Abhisek Lahiri is one of the best young sarod players in India.

  • @MichaelJoseph08 I don't get the chance to attend all the major festivals and concerts, but I learn to play the sarod and I can say with certain amount of surety that Abhishek Lahiri is playing real good stuff here. Love his taans, good command over the vocabulary. But I wish you had posted some of the alaap section also; the alaap demonstrates a musician's real understanding of music (perhaps much more than his technical skills).

  • @ovliquevideo thanks for your comment... i could only post this portion of video as i couldn't record some due to some technical problems... this video is quite old... something like 8 years old... there are other videos of Abhisek Lahiri where you can listen his alap.
