  • Girl Scouts is girl power - personified. Keep it up!

  • Read some of Bill Taylor's artilces, cool to see him on video...

  • The Girl Scouts "Blue Book of Basic Documents" says absolutely nothing about lesbians nor homosexuals, nor does Girl Scouts consider them a "protected class" nor even mention "sexual orientation" in any of their publications/materials. They only recognize "protected classes" such as race, national origin, religion, sex, age, and disabilities. It is a myth that Girl Scouts promotes homosexuality - perpetuated by people who dislike Girl Scouting for some reason they aren't willing to disclose.

  • there is no link between planned parenthood and girl scouts.

  • By the way, selling cookies funds Planned Parenthood which main activity is ABORTION. Everyone knows it and Cathy admitted this on National TV. I doubt that Julie Gorden Lowe would support this agenda either. Cathy is not a role model for our girls and if you ask most leaders, they cringe at this idea, but there is no other choice, until 13 years ago. Search American Heritage Girls.

  • Holy Cow ... I'll never buy or eat another girl scout cookie again. Thanks for posting this comment. Spread the word.

  • I'm not sure where you got this idea, but there is NO link between Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood. There NEVER has been. And we DO NOT provide funding to them in any form.

  • What are you smoking? Membership is not growing fast due to all the restructuring. What is really going on, girls love to camp with their mothers. You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Change means that if you aren't a lesbian you are not welcome which I found out first hand with my daughter. Cathy is in her own world and if Juliet, a God fearing woman were alive she would be disgusted. Give us all a break!

  • Too bad Mr. Taylor did not actually research this topic before blogging. He might have found out this has not been the success he describes but has actually resulted in decifit budgets, a severe drop in morale, reduced membership and a questionable future.

  • I find it so strange that people would go on and on about someone whose only success has been to change many things in an organization. It would be wiser to wait until there was actual success. In Ms. Cloninger's case membership has plummeted by 250,000 girls since she has been at the helm. Perhaps the organization will right itself, but wise people would see if that happens before setting a crown on her head.
