Heyy, my friend has had a problems like that before, i dont know if your's is similar?

Its ussally somthing to do with the motor slipping. He took his to our local hobby shop and they said its a common problem with them.

All they did was adjusted the motor timing or rotor or somthing and it worked again.

@fire53cuso yea it sucks. it was like 60$ but my dad payed for it since he likes my rustler lol. plus i payed for the entire VXL system myself so he offered to fix it . all it needed was a simple rebuild kit that comes with the neo magnent shaft and high temp ceramic bearings

hey tristan. you really need to get an integy gearbox. it looks so nice on my rustler. and it apparently cools down the motor.

@xXShadowRejectsXx sweet! when you buy it you might as well just not buy it if you cant get a integy whelie bar with it. if you cant i can send you my spare one for free. message me if you want it. the reason for this is because if you dont have it with the integy gear box there is nothing protecting the motor. it doesnt have that ring around the motor.

@mariamad90 traxxas is my fav brand so far, the only toyish think the have is the mini drifter, overall they ROCK solid, my merv 1/16 and rustler both go 70+ mph!

great vid bro!! tht really is insane power. i havent put up any new vids yet cause i need a new battery. it wont hold a charge anymore. did u figure out wats wrong with it yet? it looks like ur axel from the motor snaped in half. thts not very good.

@reidairsofter thanks man! and Lol i took it to the LHS and they told me "this looks like a time to be looking for a new motor". so its the motor, ughhh thats 60-70$. im pretty happy because it keeps me from tearing into the trans, but sad because i like that motor! but they said their rebuilding it so it should be ready monday...!

either your motor bearings are bad, or you've stripped something. probably your differential ring, but you can buy a steel one.

@TheHuntingTerminator im taking it up to my LHS tommorow to get it looked at, i took apart the motor to make sure its working fine and nothing was siezed, broken, stripped, etc...it looked fine to me!

@xXShadowRejectsXx i bet its the plastic ring on the diff. not all of them had the steel one stock. you can buy it though for like 8 bucks.

It's your slipper clutch. Crank that sucker down all the way. If that doesn't fix it, get new pads.

hey this is so weird this just happend to mine 2 days a go so its inside your trasmishion and their is a little pin on you gear inside were the slipper goes onto u must have broke the pin inside.. look at it.. hope this helps?

@everythingboy13 i fixed that right before i started running it :) i modded it to fit a full size pin and loctited it on there and ran it, ran fine, then i ran it again and BOOM,

take the pinion gear off and see if the set screw is striped it looks like the motor shaft is spinning inside the pinion gear

@philin2222 i checked that and it was really right and the shaft wasnt spinning :/, thanks man tho lol! im getting it taken to the LHS tommorow, they might help diagnose the issue
