Praising and blessing every part of your body is one of the most powerful and self affirming things you can do for yourself. Especially if you are able to look squarely at the parts of your body that are most upsetting. Try to summon up all the love you can find inside and send those feelings straight to those parts of your body that have troubled you. Every thing in this video is perfect truth. I lost 70 lbs over the course of one year using this simple, beautiful, and life changing technique.
Getting rid of all junk foods and all refined sugars, HFC, and dairy products containing BGH is how I lost 60 lbs over a years course. That meant no more soft drinks, juices, or any food containing refined sugar or HFCS. Read all labels! Sugars are hidden in a lot of foods we eat. Except for organic dairy products, NO commercial milk, cheese, butter, sour cream, or yogurt containing BGH. BGH is designed to fatten cattle. It will make you fat too, if you eat these products regularly.
Thoughts have little to do with being overweight except for not loving yourself enough to stop abusing your body by a bad diet. Overweight in most cases is the direct result of bad eating habits learned from childhood. If you have a diet of junk foods laced with a high sugar content, then the first step is to correct those bad eating habits. Get rid of all the refined sugars and HFC, and dairy products that have added hormones (BGH, artificial growth hormone) meant for fattening cattle.

I'm currently in great shape, but as always I start to do a bit of self sabotage because I'm always focusing on 'losing weight' as you say and so therefore I must always return to this point. I agree, there's a major misunderstanding in society about weight gain.
Would you like an easy solution? Eat food for which your species is designed to digest (ripe, raw fruits and vegetables, as much as you desire). Move around. I'm very happy, satisfied, and very active on a long-term 100% low-fat raw-vegan diet and I love love love my entire self now!
I just found this video and I think it's beautiful. RE: the comment about fat.... Yes, fat is in food - however, I believe that when we feel really good about ourselves and our self-esteem is high, then we want to give our bodies more fruits, veggies and "good" fats to keep our bodies running smoothly and to keep our body healthy. When I feel good about myself, I eat in a more healthful manner. Thank you for another great video!
@bastethorus Thanks so much for watching and your comment! I find that too, that when I have good feeling thoughts about myself and my body, then I tend to eat more veggies and fruit. As Abraham has told us, it's not what you're doing (eating), it's how you FEEL about what you're doing.

This causes the condition of being over weight. Your telling me that if I ate deep fried pork fat and cake every day for a year I wouldn't be fat, or die of cardiac arrest? You can't attract fat. If everyone believed this our already morbidly obese society would barely be able to stand up.
I am really not sure about the whole secret thing but I do think this is kinda true. When I was thin (all my life untill recently) I always told people(ans I truly believed) "I can eat whatever I want and i just dont gain weight. I kept hearing from others that once you have kids you get fat. Stupidly I believed it and guess what?!?!? I am overweight now that i am a mother of two.
Hello! I'd suggest finding something about yourself that you like, ie. hair, nails, skin, something and focus on how wonderful it is! See yourself in your imagination of how you want to look. sometimes i imagine myself with this perfect body, and everthing i ever wanted. then i begin to feel and emotion response to those thoughts and begin to feel good. But then i look in the mirror and i see the contrary of what i want. so should i ignore what-is, should i not look in the mirror? its hard to picture your body different because you carry it everyday. maybe im missunderstanding this teaching so would you please explain this in more detail?

i know this teaching is true but it seems really difficult for me to "belive" it. when i try and eat something that i love (that isnt usually "healthy" food) my mind screams so loud "wat are u doing?? this is going to make you fat!" and then i say "no its my vibration" then i see all this information at school, doctors, athletic people, etc. who say how certain food can really mess you up by the calories, sat fat, etc so trying to ignore all of that is hard.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you are... but with every day, I'm starting to feel a difference, if not in my body then in my own thoughts... and this morning my mother told me "you look like you lost some weight" when I totally pigged out on cheesecake and two bags of chips with dip (!!) the nights before, something I would have never allowed myself before. But I still have to see where it all goes.
I also have trouble with the whole mirror issue, and also fitting into the clothes ... I try to avoid looking in the mirror for now, and when I do I'll say something like "I know this body's changing every second" or something. Same thing when I put my jeans on. =/ I wonder if I'm doing everything right though... wish I had live help from a pro or something...

coconut oil and ten glasses of water a day i promise 2 spoonfulls a day of the oil and ull lose 30 lbs in a month i promise but whatever negative things u see about coconut oil are from lobbyists because natural cures like coconut oil ar taking pharmacies out of buisness ...get some but make sure its organic and extra virgin...best of luck to u mate
research studies have been done by having two groups of people eat something less than healthy, in the example i read, was a piece of chocolate cake. Those who believed it was bad for them, their bodies became physically weaker. However, those that were enjoying it, their bodies got stronger, the thoughts we have DO have an effect on our body's actual make up. Also, the choices aren't the problem, it's the habits...if you're going to eat something "unhealthy" do it, and let it go, guiltfree.
have you tried subtraction by addition? eat the foods you love, that you say are unhealthy, but also try adding in one or two that are healthy...as you start to notice differences in how each makes you feel, your ability to make choices that are healthier will get easier because you've seen how each makes you feel after eating it. Those "unhealthy" foods wont have to be stopped completely, maybe just eaten occassionally.
It is doable, so many others have done it, and you can do it too....
