for the amount of soy sauce you had in there, that was to much wasabi. if there was more soy sauce in there that amount would have been fine. i think the best way to eat sushi is in one bite not 2. thats the best way to get the full taste.

California roll doesn't count. In my opinion the Eel is by far the best. Oh yeah and never mix the wasabi and soy sauce. Just take a small chunk of wasabi and put it in your roll. Its a ton better. Who ever told you to do that needs to be shot.

...My good chap, that is not sushi, that is a california roll with imitation crab (which is just COOKED white fish) cucumber, avocado, sticky rice and seaweed. Better luck next time knowing what things are. If you want to make sure you are eating authentic sushi make sure the meat on it is semi transparent or RAW looking.
