@MRvarmintslayer No rabbit yet. Deer season came up and we have concentrated on deer and turkey. He take a shot at a Turkey with his bow but it was a big time miss. I had a big ass turkey tip on the arrow and his arrow did not fly straight. I'm working on a video on that particular tip. Hope I can get it out before spring turkey season.

im 15 years old and this little boy is my new idol dont let him stop i wish i would have started that young due to father isues i didnt but for a 5 year old hes pretty good!!!
@bowencounter Thanks! He got a 22 rifle for xmas. I hope he does not forget the bow. He can pretty much consistantly hit a 12 inch steel plate at 100s with his new rifle. CRAZY! i'm sorry if i'm offending but whats the fun about shooting a compound with aimers and such? i do archery with recurves and longbows, traditional way, and i think its more skill based. but this sure is a good example of showing that compounds are the easiest things to handle. sorry for bad english btw
i practice with carbon arrows that have a short line long distance fletching and a solid clear nylon see through arrow nock the arrow is termed for anywhere between 45-75 pound draw with carbon sharp fit field tips.but im gonna get broadheads and stronger arrows with batted fletching and i was wondering what sight to use and if i can get a video of your son shooting his bow.much appreciated if so.and do you shoot bows?
@ajones060499 I think we (he and I) are at the point where equipment does little to make a difference in our shooting. He keeps growing so fast it seems like I am constantly adjusting his bow for his draw length. Its a battle just to keep it zero'd for him. I posted a few others of him shooting on my channel.

id love for your boy to teach me to shoot my 60 pound draw compound...hes an execcelent shot with a bow.you tought him good.can you you keep me posted on your son and you here sir?
@ajones060499 Will be posting some vidoes when I get a chance to edit. I took some kids turkey hunting with some specialized turkey tips and they shot like crap. No one got a turkey... I will not be using those tips again.
your kid is shooting really really good for his age!!m imprest but i noticed that his arrow had quite a drop when he shoots if he is shooting 100gr heads i would suggest moving down to a 85gr head. but with or without my advise your kid is a great shooter!!
@TheGrasshopper0818 That bow is a Nuclear ICE. It has many adjustments. BUT, I would look at the MENACE from Mathews. It has alot of adjustment from draw length to pound of pull. It could be something she can grow into. You will most likely have to spend more $ than you want to get something good and adjustable since the kids grow so dog gone fast. If you go too cheap you are gonna hate the performance.
@TheGrasshopper0818 u can get a diamond razors edge that can last her forever! it is in a 15-30lb or a 30-60lb if u get the 15-30 after wards u can buy the limbs

@omrebs22 Thanks! He's getting better. Once he learns to shoot a pistol he is gonna smoke me on the IPSC stages. See my NicTaylor00 channel for an example of that.
@komotoko Yeah, I got some arrow tips for turkey. I'll set up a couple of arrows for it when we sit in our tree stand. I think he'll be happy just to take a shot at one.

@WildWoodHuntinClub Thanks! I think it helped that I adjusted his bow sights for longer shots. My rabbit hunting videos of him were set at closer ranges. I think he has a better chance of getting a rabbit too.

@ajones060499 They were the Magnus BullHead tips. They seem to fly straight if you buy the proper arrows for them and have a drop away rest.
