This song made me look up to the life of this "Dr Dee".

He was an extremely brilliant man who could be the second "Einstein" but he was a victim of his community during all his life , thus he died with a doubtful reputation.

@istarilight You do know there was more to the story, John Dee was disgraced becase, not only was he a "Conjurer" (Occultist), By Occultism we of course refer to science, (Astronomy=astrology, alchemy=chemistry), one of elizabeths right hand men he was obsessed with however finding a way to communicate with the dead, he was a brilliant guy, but he was disgraced when he was swindled by a charlaton posing as a spirit medium, and for his interest in dark magick, he was banished from his courtship.
